Interpretation from Thorley Archive information Letter to Mrs. Emma Day, 7, Pump Yard Cottages, (or Park View Cottages today) , Thorley Street. Husband Joseph Day (1901 Agricultural worker) Three sons — Charles 43, Willie 28 and Thomas 24 Thomas died 9th December 1905 and is buried in Thorley churchyard. Either Charles or Willie has been to the stonemasons to view Thomas’ headstone and is reporting back to his mother.
